We have been in Punta Cana two times, and it's true that I met some people saying they have this kind of problem. We didnt, luckily. My advice is to bring the pills u usually use for this kind of problem, because in the resorts they are expensive. They have also doctors there, so do not be worried. Avoid coco nuts and do not drink the water in the room.
