If you exit Puerto Plata in the West dirrection, at 1 km you will find a teleferico that runs to a place called Loma Isabel del Torres, an elevation of 780 m. The ticket price was for me 5 Usd ( round trip ). And the opening hours are 8.30 am - 5 pm, daily, except Wednesdays. You can admire a great panorama from up there!
