National Park of the East is located in the southeast part of the Dominican Republic. This park has archeological importance and is an ecological reserve. In order to see the endemic flora, as well as endangered fauna such as manatees and bottlenosse dolphins, I had to hire a guide, because the trails aren't well marked.
